Community Engagement Pateley Bridge

In response to public feeling caused by the death of Bailey Chadwick North Yorkshire police have spent the day engaging with residents of Pateley Bridge. 

The engagement was well received and as result we have seen a good increase in community messenger signups. Today was also an opportunity for residents to not only discuss their grief with us but also to tell us about their concerns. I have received a good uptake in community intelligence involving a range of issues. I will be seeking to develop and act on that intelligence in due course. 

Moving forward I will be aiming to set up similar drop in sessions in Pateley Bridge utilising our mobile police office. My aim will be to try and set up the office on the High Street at least once per month (whilst the weather last!!!).. 

The mobile police office is exactly what it says on the tin. It can be set up anywhere. I would like to see it used more. If you would like to see it set up in your community please let me know by replying to this post with a suggested location.
